The Studio, Taliesin Create (Singleton Campus), Swansea
The School of Culture and Communications is hosting a special event to celebrate Swansea Pride ahead of Pride Month in June.
Film lecturer Dr. Lisa Smithstead will be giving a talk on queer cinema histories, looking at breakthrough moments of LGBTQI+ representation from the earliest days of film to the present day.
Expect lots of exciting clips, lost queer icons, and great queer love stories rarely told!
We’ll also have a Queer Film and TV Memories Wall in the Taliesin Mall Room, where you can post your favourite or most impactful queer screen moments.
Come along for good chat, good company, and free refreshments
This event is hosted by the School of Culture and Communication. Students and staff from across the University are welcome to attend.
