Love animals? Want to make a difference and help out a local farm?
Join us for a day of volunteering at Swansea Community Farm!
Volunteering happens on Tuesday and Thursday. You can come 1 day a week. Most people stick to the same day, but you don’t have to.
You can work with animals, on the grounds or in the garden, and in the café!
The day runs from 10am-4pm. We have a coffee break at 11.30am-12pm, and we stop for lunch from 1pm-2pm. If you arrive late or need to leave early, just let us know.
Things to bring:
Water bottle / drink for the day. We supply tea and coffee.
Packed lunch or £3.50 to buy lunch at their café. They also have a kitchen you can use with a hob, oven and microwave.
It is highly recommended to wear old clothes and waterproofs for animals and outdoor work or cean clothes and shoes if you’re hoping to volunteer in the café. You also need to have good hygiene for the café.
We will supply you with gloves and steel toe cap boots for animals and outdoor work. You’re welcome to bring your own if you have them.
