GO! Social welcomes you to join us on our GO! Trip: Designer Outlet by Bus

Please note this event is for students currently enrolled at Swansea University (and their friends/family) and is not open for bookings from the general public. A valid Swansea University Student Number will be required on booking

Date: Friday 25th September

Time: Meeting at Swansea bus station at 10:25am 

We will be catching the 10:40am flixbus to Bridgend which will drop us off by the designer outlet village. 

The volunteers will be returning to Swansea at 4:55pm but it is up to you what return time you would like to choose. 

PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE YOUR OWN FLIX BUS TICKET USING THE INFORMATION ABOVE VIA THIS LINK: https://www.flixbus.co.uk/ 

A return ticket will cost you around £11.

Important Information:

*Arrival Time Information - please note arrival times both to the destination and on return to Swansea are approximate and may be subject to change depending on unforeseen circumstances beyond our control including, but not limited to, diversions due to accidents / road closures, technical and operational issues among others. The driver will do their best to keep you updated. We always recommend carrying a Power Bank with you as we cannot guarantee that coaches will have power supplies for passenger use.

Late Arrival: As we are using flixbus, the bus will leave without you if you are late so please ensure you are at the bus station at 10:30am (15 minutes before departure).

Conduct & Safety: You are responsible for your own behaviour and time keeping. Please take reasonable care of your own and other people's health and safety. Please ensure that you familiarise yourself with safety information and safety instructions on board transport and at any location you visit. If you have any concerns, please raise these to the Trip Leader. In the event of an emergency situation, please ensure you contact the emergency services on 999.

Accessibility: This trip requires boarding / disembarkation of the coach. The entire ground floor of the site is wheelchair friendly. If you have any concerns or queries regarding the suitability of this event, or have any specific accessibility requirements, please contact gosocial@swansea.ac.uk as soon as possible. We will do our best to assist, however we cannot guarantee all requirements can be met.

Data Protection: We will use the information you provide for attendance and safety purposes. We will use your data to produce internal statistics but will not share it with third parties or use it for marketing purposes. Your information will be provided to our trip leader on the day of the trip for the purpose of attendance monitoring and emergency situations. The information will be kept confidential and destroyed on return from the trip, Native’s policies can be found on their website.

Photos: We will be taking photos throughout the event which we will use to promote future activities in the form of leaflets, social media posts, digital screens and on our website. If you would not like to be included, then please tell us on the day of the event. If you see yourself in any pictures and would like to be removed, please email us at gosocial@swansea.ac.uk and we will make sure that any photos of you are deleted.
