Take part in our very first Future Generations Hackathon with the School of Management.
The Mission
To create long-lasting, realistic solutions to the challenges set out in the Future Generations Wellbeing Act.
The How
For 48 hours, you will work to generate solutions to problems posed in the Future Generations Wellbeing Act. From arriving on the Friday where you will form teams to presenting your final design in front of a panel of judges on Sunday - this is a full on, intense chance to develop multiple skills.
The Why
The Future Generations Wellbeing Act are growing a movement for change - putting long-term thinking and a future focus at the heart of everything they do.
The Experience
Build experience in responding to real-world problems, with innovation and design at the forefront of what you do. Develop your team work, communication and presentation skills. We will have a team of expert mentors available throughout the weekend on site to consult with.
This unique opportunity is the first of it's kind at the university, so make sure to submit your applicaton to join us as spaces are limited! The top 3 teams wll all receive prizes at the end of the weekend.
TO PARTICIPATE:
You must be a current Swansea University student from the School of Management.
Must be free for all of the weekend 22nd - 24th November 2024.
You must enter as an individual, not a group.
With limited spaces available, all applications will be reviewed by a panel.
